Unpaid Wages & Overtime

If your employer has not paid you for the hours you’ve worked, not paid you overtime or the correct amount for overtime, improperly withheld funds from your paycheck, held your paycheck ransom for some arbitrary reason, or you feel you there is some impropriety with your wages, you should contact us for a free consultation.

On May 23, 1937, Theodore Roosevelt told his listeners that men and women should be able to obtain a “fair day’s pay for a fair day’s work.” Over 80 years later, hard working North Dakotans still occasionally have to fight for their fair pay.  We represent employees from all sectors of the workforce.  From the oil fields to the to fast food industry to the corporate world, we represent those who have put in the fair day’s work.

Representation in this context usually will involve enforcement of the federal Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable wage and hour provisions of the North Dakota Century Code.  Most of these cases are handled on a contingency fee, meaning that you don’t need any money for legal fees; we don’t get paid unless you get paid.  We will be there for you to make sure you’re made whole whether it’s through assertive negotiations on your behalf or arguing your case in front of a jury.  We have the experience and resources to ensure you get your fair day’s pay.
